General Questions
How long does the service take?
I'm confused by your pricing! I don't know how much my laundry weighs. How much can I expect 1 week of laundry to cost?
We try to make our pricing as simple as possible, that’s why we charge by the pound.
For reference, a family of 5 (2 adults and 3 young children) have about 50 – 60 pounds of laundry per week, bath towels included.
At our Standard 48-Hour Service ($1.85/lb), this family of 5 would expect to pay between $92.50 – $111 for their order!
How does the minimum order price work?
For our Standard Service, anything below 16 pounds is a flat $30. If you need a pair of socks washed, it’s $30.
If you order is over 16 pounds, say 31 pounds for example, your order would cost $57.35.
How do I pay?
We’ll send you an invoice after your laundry has been picked up and weighed with your order total. Payment is expected before your laundry is returned.
How should I leave my laundry out for pickup?
We recommend leaving your laundry out in trash bags, but we will also accept laundry in baskets if thats what you prefer!
Do I need to be home for pickup or delivery?
No! Tell us exactly where you want your laundry picked up and dropped off and we will handle the rest.
Laundry Questions
Do you separate colors and whites?
Yes. We carefully sort laundry to ensure proper washing. Customers are responsible for separating garments by color before pickup. We are not responsible for color bleeding or dye transfer when items that may bleed are included in the same load.
Do you treat stains?
Yes, we do – although we can’t guarantee we’ll be able to get it out. Please place all stained clothing in a smaller “Special Attention” bag. Let us know by including a note in the bag or when you schedule your pickup and we’ll do our best to get it out. We recommend pretreating the stain before putting your pickup as it will increase the odds of success.
Do you offer ironing or pressing?
No, we do not offer ironing or pressing. We are a wash, dry and fold service.
I have some items that I want hung. Do you do that?
Yes! If you have any clothing that you would like to be hung dry rather than going into the dryer, please place them in a smaller “Hang Dry Only” bag. Let us know by including a note in the bag or when you schedule your pickup.
Do you wash items that are soiled?
Bloom & Bubble reserves the right to refuse service of items soiled with bodily fluids, chemicals, or garbage. If we are unable to launder, items will be returned unwashed.
